International Applicants & Credential Evaluation

Studied outside the United States? Here is how your credentials and English proficiency are planned to be reviewed.

Applications are not open. NBU is not currently licensed, accredited, approved, or authorized to confer degrees. Credential evaluations and test scores do not guarantee admission, credit or enrollment, and nothing here is an offer of admission.
Credential evaluation

Degrees earned outside the U.S.

NBU plans to ask applicants with international credentials for an independent evaluation that describes their education in U.S. terms. This helps Admissions and the Registrar review your transcripts consistently.

OPTION 1

IEE (Institute of International Education Evaluators)

IEE has a dedicated page for NBU applicants, offering a custom application and a stated 3-business-day-or-less turnaround on standard processing. Pricing and service details are set by IEE and shown on its page.

View NBU's IEE page (opens in a new tab)
OPTION 2

WES (World Education Services)

NBU has an AccessWES institutional account, so applicants can ask WES to send their evaluation to NBU. Applicants with international education (more than half of a degree, a 3-year bachelor's, or study outside the U.S. and Canada) can request a course-by-course evaluation.

Applicants pay WES directly and must translate non-English records; WES does not provide translation services.

How to request a WES evaluation World Education Services (opens in a new tab)

Request a WES evaluation for NBU

  1. Create a WES account at applications.wes.org (opens in a new tab).
  2. Select the course-by-course evaluation.
  3. Add Nation Builders University as a recipient so NBU receives an official copy of your evaluation.
  4. Need help? Contact WES at wes.org/contact-us (opens in a new tab).

Never email IDs, passports or payment details to NBU.

IEE and WES are independent organizations. NBU does not operate them, does not receive their fees, and their listing here is not an endorsement by them of NBU, nor a guarantee of results. You may use another recognized evaluation service if Admissions approves it.

English proficiency

If English is not your first language

Because many NBU courses are delivered in English, applicants whose primary language of instruction was not English may be asked to show proficiency. Accepted evidence is planned to include:

  • Duolingo English Test results
  • TOEFL or IELTS results
  • Completion of a recognized English-language program
  • Previous academic study conducted in English
  • An institutional English assessment, or an approved equivalent

Minimum scores will be published before applications open. About the Duolingo English Test (independent organization; acceptance of its scores is not a partnership or endorsement).
