A Simple Digital Marketing Plan for a Small Business

Choose one audience, one message and two channels, then measure what happens.

Define one audience

Describe the one customer you serve best: who they are, what problem they have and where they look for help. Marketing to everyone usually reaches no one.

Say one clear thing

Write a single sentence on what you do, for whom and why it is better. Use it on your website, profiles and printed materials.

Pick two channels

Choose the two places your audience already spends time, such as a search listing and one social platform, and do them well rather than posting everywhere.

Create useful content

Answer the questions customers ask: how to choose, how much it costs, what to expect. Useful content earns trust before the first sale.

Measure and adjust

Count enquiries, not just likes. Note where each customer heard about you and do more of what works.
